Apportionments Oklahoma City University

Our support of Oklahoma City University is an investment that deliv­ers a wonderful return! Speaking only in dollars, it returns approximately 130 percent of our apportionment in the form of scholarships to Oklahoma United Methodist students. OCU offers its students a well-rounded educa­tion of exceptional quality.

Classes at OCU are small, giving students an opportunity to interact per­sonally with their professors. Our United Methodist university demonstrates its commitment to helping students succeed by providing encouragement and assistance to those who arrive unprepared for the academic requirements of a university. Where but at a school such as this one would the head of a department take a summer school freshman to the library and patiently explain how to use the file system?

Service to the community is an essential part of the curriculum, along with the academic studies. Students discover the joy of providing assistance where it is needed. Lives are forever changed by the experiences they have in and through OCU.

Our support of OCU is an investment providing a return in the form of leadership for our churches. Many of the ministers and leaders in our churches received all or a part of their education on the campus of Okla­homa City University. The Wimberly School of Religion offers continuing education opportunities to clergy and laity.

The Meinders School of Business provides students with state-of-the­-art facilities. OCU equips men and women as they invest in the future.

Over the years, the OCU dance program, with its outstanding faculty, has achieved international stature as a leader in preparing dancers and managers for professional careers in the entertainment industry.
