Annual Conference Council Description

The Annual Conference Council coordinates the ministries of the Annual Conference so that is may accomplish its mission.

The Council:

  • sets the calendar
  • approves job descriptions for the conference staff
  • recommends a unified budget to the Council on Finance and Administration
  • recommends goals and program priorities to the Annual Conference
  • follows through on assignments from the conference

and fulfills responsibilities provided in the Discipline and facilitates the relationship with the General Church.
